Living in a small town in Oklahoma, I had never heard of the Isle of Man before March of 1997. But I was in a chatroom in March of 1997 and there was this group of men from the Isle of Man in the same chatroom that I was in causing chaos. They were making fun of everything and everybody. I understand the English concept of "taking the piss" at stuff and they had me laughing so hard and I was responding with "LOL" which suprised this one man and he sent me a private msg saying you understand what we are doing?! I told him yes and that I thought it was hilarous. This was the start of something that totally changed my life forever. To make things complicated he was married and so was I. Neither one of us happily married..hence we were on the Internet in the chatrooms.

I can now say 12 years later, 5 almost grown children between us and our 10th Wedding Anniversary last June, that chance encounter was THE best thing to ever happen to us and our children.
