We found each other online.  We both had accounts on yahoo personals.  He found me and was the first to send a message.  After only a week of e-mailing we spoke on the phone.  After a week of that we decided to meet.  We were both from the same city but he travelled a lot for his job so we only got to see eachother on weekends in the beginning.

5yrs later, we've moved to europe together and are now in the midst of planning our September wedding.

Funny thing was that as we got to know eachother we discovered that many aspects of our lives overlapped and it was a wonder we had not met earlier and offline.  Our friends knew eachother, we attended the same college (just one year apart) and many of the same classes and attended many of the same college parties.

I like to think that we would have eventually met as we seem 'meant to be' only the internet helped move things along a bit.
