    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

    MEMPHIS, TN - (June 5, 2009)— THE  SOULFUL  JOURNEY,  an exploration of African American Culture though art, music and literature is scheduled to open June 24, 2009 at the National Civil Rights Museum In Memphis, TN.

    This exhibit, which is produced by Beaty Four Entertainment, Inc., Las Vegas, NV , is a first of its kind look at the Evolution of Africa American Culture From the migration of Africans to the United States as slaves to present day.

    The SOULFUL JOURNEY is not meant as another who done what to whom tale of African Americans as slaves in the country, but rather, as an insightful look at the strength and dignity of African American as they strived for their inalienable rights through artistic expression.

    The SOULFUL JOURNEY is displayed in three parts: Africa and the slave migration; Free but not equal, fight for human right; and the blues pavilion featuring the life and legend of Bobby Rush, America’s ambassador of authentic African American root music.

    The SOULFUL JOURNEY is opening its exhibit to coincide with the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience Annual Summit, taking place at the National Civil Rights Museum June 24th, though 28th, 2009 in Memphis, TN.

    This will be the first time the International Sites of Conscience has held its summit in America and Leaders will attend from around the world including Italy, South Africa, Russia, Bangladesh, Chile, Argentina, England and many others.

    This interesting and informative presentation is co-sponsored by the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Southern Heritage Classic and Radio Station WDIA.
