Obama should Stay Out Of Iran's Domestic Issues - Period
President Obama should refrain from commenting on the validity of the Iranian election given our pre Shah history with Iran and thus negating Iran’s mullahs the opportunity to accuse us of involvement in Iran’s domestic issues.
Note that Supreme Court assigned President Bush in 2000 while vote counts were still in dispute. Ironically, though not widely reported most <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/22/opinion/22krugman.html"><strong>
independent recounts</strong></a> showed Gore did in fact win Florida as well as the overall popular vote. Judge not lest ye be judged.
