This iReport is part of an assignment:
Time to legalize pot? |
YES
I believe that with this bill it will take away the inhibitions of a lot. Our freedom as "Americans" is the real issue here. Quite frankly the way things have played out throughout my lifetime this is the one thing they can give back to the public. It is medicinal, once that term was given to marijuana, it should be as blase as sudafed, ibuprofin, or St. Johns wart. Should it be my decision on how I permit myself to live, or die. Truely this life I live is mine, and no one should take on responsibilities for it. Historically, all peoples of all nations have been afflicted with religious, political, and cultural differences. With what we have educated ourselves, we now know how the public, the civilians of society that have covered the backs of the elite minded from robes to sportcoats have been subject to their ideals and moral. If I can't be allowed freedom to choose, then who am I as an "American"? To the rest of the world please believe that all Americans are not as superficial.
