    Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle Speaks about Economy, Education, Energy for Hawaii Children's Future

    I attended the opening of the new Highway expansion project for which many of the states' political and government leaders attended.  I have captured the second half of the speech delivered by former Maui Mayor Linda Lingle who spoke to the needs for "preventive medicine" given the skyrocketing cost of oil.  She speaks of her trip to Israel where they are planning for all electric vehicles to be on the streets in 5 years.  She thinks Maui would be wise to do likewise.
