Baseball Card Has Hillary Hugging Obama

The race may not yet be over, but Upper Deck Company is predicting a winner in the race for the Democratic nomination with the release of its "Presidential Predictor" parody cards. The company's newest card depicts Hillary Clinton holding up Barack Obama in a victorious celebration. The two are pictured in baseball uniforms in an image inspired by Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek hoisting up an elated Jonathan Papelbon following the final out of the 2007 Boston Red Sox World Series victory. The insert card in question is just part of a second round of "Presidential Predictor" parody cards that Upper Deck originally launched in February. This second set of cards is randomly inserted in the company's series two release. Earlier this year, Upper Deck produced a "Presidential Predictor" eight-card set featuring original parodies of several of the top candidates tied in with a baseball theme. Senator Clinton was then pictured as Morganna the Kissing Bandit. Each candidate shown in the Presidential Predictor series is tied to a pivotal moment or personality from baseball history. Among the politicos i the first round of "Presidential Predictor" cards were Obama, John Edwards, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson. More information on the cards can be found at http://www.SportsCollectorsDaily.com.
