Obama admits spoof - says he never supported gay marriage
Obama broke radio silence this morning in response to an iReporter's spoof (or was it??) that republicans were conspiring to outlaw sex change operations.
"Unlike some unprincipled iReporters - I always tell the truth" Our president thumped his breast (er, chest) with pride.
"I made no secret during the campaign that I was 100% opposed to gay marriage"
"And if you believed I was going to end "Don't Ask - Don't Tell" . . .. well, thats simply hearing what you want to hear. I never said THAT either." (putting it in a letter to a gay political group isn't exactly the same as using it in a campaign speech, after all)
Congressman Iscoe, who recently introduced legislation to outlaw sex change operations except in when necessary to save the life of the fetus, vowed to work 24/7 to have scurrilous spoofs removed from iReports from people who are so passionate about their cause that they ignore the line between truth and fiction.
"I have 707 things I hate, and thats number 69 on the list" Iscoe noted. "Cheap whine masquerading as authentic Margaux is another"
(disclaimer - the above post is NOT a cut and past without attribution from "the onion", but its still a satire)
