Death Toll rises to 7 in Metro Train collision!
The people of DC are shocked that the number of casualties was not greater in number than originally reported.
What many of us find so puzzeling is the fact that the Red Line Train is the most utilized in the region and given the particular hour of this horrible accident, the numbers in losses should have been greater.
We thank those of you from around the nation for your heart felt sympathy for those that lost their lives on this transportation system.
Heres a tip! If you ride the subway to and from work or anywhere else, take a tip from this Retired Fire fighter. Do not sit on the front of the train and do not sit in the very back. Stick to the middle of the train and you may be safer from this type of accisent.
