Unrest in Iran |
America: The Moral Authority of the World?
What amazes me about the unrest in Iran is how insincere this "call for action" is by Republicans and many ireporters.
Where were any of you during the unjust verdict in the Rodney King Case? Where were you when Abner Louima was raped by N.Y. police? Where were you when riots broke out in Cincinnati over the cold blooded murder of Timothy Thomas? I recall peaceful protesters being gunned downed with rubber bullets by the Cincinnati police.
Furthermore, what would your reaction be if Iran, Cuba, or any other country we don't have diplomatic relations with felt like they should "do something" abouth the inhumanity?
You vilify Al Sharpton for standing up over American's human rights issues, but now you want justice for Iranians?
This was the reason for my post, "The Legacy of Caucasian Genocide, Hate, and Inhumanity (http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-268055)"; to point out that America's moral authority does not exist in the world...only in it's own mind.
