Video Footage one day after the worse Metro Rail accident in the systems history! Death Toll at 9!
The video footage you are viewing now was not garnered easily. In fact, because of the nature of this incident, the area of origin is highly restricted...even to retired firefighters and police officers.
After suffering its's third crash in 15 years, this one is obviously the worse for the Metro Rail system, the second largest subway system in the nation.
While members from the NTSB are on the scene conducting thier investigation, tensions are high for the law enforcement officers there to secure the scene.
You may have trouble seeing the footage I was able to get of the accident scene but it is visible enough to place you there.
There is a press conference scheduled for 5:00 pm this evening where more information will be divulged. I have no ambition to attend because of the location and restrictions to the scene of the accident. The death toll now stands at nine victims.
