This iReport is part of an assignment:
Black in America: Your roots |
"Who I Am."
There is no doubt of who I am and where I come from. I have traced my family roots back 4 generations and am now working on the 5th generation. My mother came from loving parents who eventhough faced with raising 10 children, managed to provide and instill in them the knowledge they would receive in order to pass the same along to their children who have passed it on to their own children, I being one of them, who in turn am passing my four generations of knowledge on to my children and watching my oldest daughter pass it on to her family. How grateful I am for the love, endurance and steadfastness of my great, great grandparents. I am grateful and proud of the blood that runs through my veins and will teach my prosperity the same.
