    1995 Black or White

    When Michaels Black or White video hit MTV in 1995, the spirit of triumph over racism was carried across the nation.  I will never forget the way that video made me feel when I first saw it.  I will never stop feeling proud to be an American because of the greatness and power that music has to change the world.  Long live this Michael Jackson!  May my children grow to know and love him as I did, as a hero for the courage to write and perform songs like Black or White.  I'll never forget the power of watching so many faces blend into one another.
