This iReport is part of an assignment:
Remembering Michael Jackson |
The Scars of Childhood
The first time that I heard Michael Jackson sing as a child, my jaw dropped to the floor in amazement, and as a musician myself, he is someone that I have always admired as a naturally gifted and fantastically talented entertainer. Michael was intelligent, giving, caring and spent more time wanting to "change the world" than taking care of himself. As a gifted child, I know what it feels like to feel suffocated with the needs of others, lonely and depressed with the lack of childhood socializing and eventually suffering with the adult, inner chiid that leads you to the longing for all of the childhood needs and pleasures that have left a permanent acar on your heart. I will never forget the man, who's music helped to lead me away from the self righteous pity pot that I lived in for so many years. God Bless Michael Jackson and his entire family.
