Mousavi supporters gathered in front of Qaba mosque in Tehran 28 June evening for commemoration of freedom martyrs who were killed by government forces during Tehran protests by the invitation of Mousavi.
The people swarmed Shariati street (which is not visible in video) and into alleys close to Qaba mosque. Mousavi was supposed to speak but he did not show up. Gossips talk about his being arrested while some say he could not manage because of traffic. It was initially said that the gathering has permission from internal affair ministry but the riot police, secret police and Basij paramilitia cracked down the gathering using batons, lead pipes and tear gas arresting undisclosed number of people and beating the rest.
people are chanting "Yaa Hossein, Mir Hossein", Hossein is the name of 3rd Shite Imam who is a martyr.
