New in town? Getting online help

Online Dating Has It's Ups and Downs...And You Can Fall In Love, So Be Careful!

Online dating is not for the faint of heart. I've found the photos are often not accurate...but have had some good experiences from online dating...and yes, have fallen in love.

It certainly beats being "fixed up" by the well meaning sister-in-law who just wants to keep you from being single and taking her husband out for a drink.

Being busy with a business or just kids, sometimes doesn't allow for you to go out and do the social thing like we once did. That takes time and is often a dead end.

Kids take a lot of time and sometimes you just don't feel like going out and going through all of what it takes to meet someone, go through the "getting to know one another " conversation, only to find you just aren't clicking with this person.

I have tried different sites and have found you can look at pictures and profiles pretty quickly to distill your choice down. Then it's a matter of reading profiles and seeing who not only you find attractive, but that you find attractive from what they've written about themselves.  It eliminates a lot of wasted time and kissing a lot of "frogs" that don't turn into princesses. LOL

Talking on the phone after agreeing to online is a good start to see if there's chemistry and then if you pass that milestone it's to agree to meet somewhere publicly.

That's at a coffee shop or well, that's up to you to decide.

I have found that if you're both honest and you have chemistry and personally click conversationally..hey..you can meet that special someone and fall in love. You might even meet the "love of your life". I did
