    Salllie Walton Story - America's Forgotten Slaves

    Sallie Walton was born a slave in Indian Territory. Her story is outlined in the audio file attached.

     

    She was one of America's forgotten and never mentioned slaves---blacks held in bondage by Indians of Oklahoma.  Ironically they are among the most documented people with ties to Indian tribes, but their story is untold.
