Police find grave under floor of house

A Hialeah man was found buried under floorboard of his home Thursday morning, police officials said.
"What started as a suspicious incident where Hialeah police were conducting an investigation turned into a homicide investigation early this morning," said Hialeah police spokesman Carl Zogby.
While trying to determine the source of a foul odor inside a house located in the 600 block of East 19 Street yesterday, the living room floor was removed, according to Zogby.
The shallow grave discovered under the floor revealed the remains of an adult male.
"We’re treating this as a homicide,” said Zogby.
“We’re waiting for the medical examiner’s report.”
