The theories and speculations are flying!  Why did Sarah Palin abruptly end her term as Governor of Alaska by announcing her resignation today from the yard of her Wasilla home on Lake “Lucell” (Lucille)?  Could it be?

1)  The potential threat of a possible indictment looming against the Governor for Ethics Law Violations and Abuse of Power?

 

2)  A reported inappropriate “no bid” relationship with Spenard Builders Supply in relation to her house, the hockey rink in Wasilla when she was Mayor, etc.  Along with this threat hanging over her, and her ongoing personal legal defense fund being drained as fast as the donations come in, she is growing law-suit fatigued and is bracing for more!

 

3)  Or is it an issue in the Grand Ol’ Party tradition of scandalous infidelity as was brought to ink in September 2008 suggesting that Sarah had an affair with Brad Hanson whose family members attested to, and to which Palin only admitted turning to Todd’s BFF, Brad, for counsel and political friendship.

4)  The fact that she is a spoiled prima donna suffering from a delusional paranoid disorder, compounded by severe narcissm, mixed with a healthy dose of religious self-aggrandizement, who cannot tolerate criticism or defeat.  ANY defeat.  (Including being the first Alaska Governor to ever make history when her Attorney General nominee was overwhelmingly reject by the full legislature in April, that I am proud to have contributed to).

After all, she has secured her multi-million dollar book deal with the HarperCollins and Christian Publisher Zondervan (who is also providing a writer to ghost write this novella for her), she has the means - so why not create the time to go a stumpin’?

For a personality like Palin it is infuriating to be restrained while watching the other cast of characters such as Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, et al…out roaming freely in person and speech as they no-so-subtly run for President in 2012.

So voila!  Problem solved!  Not only can she now run about the entire country stirring up her base of religious zealots, and a whole host of random extremists, into a fevered frenzy, she can continue to run the state through the puppetry of Sean Parnell as her replacement.

Sean attends the same dominionist congregations as Palin, and is a fellow born-again who believes in legislating from the NIV Bible.  I know this firsthand from arguing with him on the issue of a Parental Notification Bill in Alaska.  (See attached photo where Palin, Parnell & Murkowski are being “blessed” with the same hand that preaches violence through Joel’s Army and End Times/Armageddon doctrine - the hand of Ed Kalnins at Wasilla Bible Church)

They adhere to the same dogmatic agendas that include the marrige of church and state.  I have personally dealt with “Lite” Gov Parnell when he was in the Senate and he is nothing if not the personification of the term “Milquetoast”.

And as the Governor says, “You’re naive…” if you think for a minute that she is going away!  She may not be overtly Alaska’s unique problem now - she is about to become one big fat headache fo the rest of us!  God I would love to be proved wrong on this!
