Point Guards don't walk off the court.

One thing you got to hand it to about Sarah Palin, she's skillful speaker. But let's look at the fact, she's a quitter. She couldn't handle the heat for whatever reason, and she bailed. She's hiding behind the idea that she's saving the state money, but really is that any reason for someone to release themselves from the commitment they made. Isn't it a conservative belief to fulfill your commitment. She wanted to be Vice President, look at Obama and Biden, they have a news channel dedicated to beating them up 24 hours a day, called Fox news. You don't see them bailing out.

As for her analogy of passing the ball, it's more like pushing the bull. Yes Point Guards pass the ball to allow others to make the shot, but they never walk off the court. Gene Hackman said in the move the Replacements "Winners Always Want the Ball". Another qoute from the movie that Keanu Reeves made is "That's why girls don't play the game"

I don't care if your Democrat or Republican you don't quit being governor in your first term in office and think your gonna have any type of political career. Politics is full contact. As far as her family being attacked, she put them out their first. You can't put your family in the spot light and show them off to sell your image, without them becoming under scruitiny because you put them in a place to be scruitinized.

I can guarantee you all those that were worried about Sarah Palin, have just been justified. She in her failure as Governor has probably pushed back women participation in the Republican Party 20 years. Her failure of service has proven that the Obama / Biden commitment was stronger by any thing that was on the McCain/Palin Ticket. The only thing that could make the republicans look worse is if McCain were to become disable or pass away in the next couple of weeks.
