This iReport is part of an assignment:
How will you spend your Fourth of July? |
What I will do this July 4th
This will be my second fourth of July in the Great North. My family and I are visiting with an old friend. Last night we went to see some pretty good fireworks and today we are going to the GAY parade, not what you think, and then tonight on to Copper Harbor to the big Fireworks Finale.
Inbetween, my friend and our families wil enjoy some ribs, some Southern slaw, a little corn on the cob, and some of that good Sheeley's barbque sauce, from over in Lexington County.
I will also use this time to remember what this country is all about, it isn't about bickering and division, it is about what brought this country to bear in the first place.
