Your Statue of Liberty shots |
Liberty among spring blossoms - April 2008
It was just a chance visit to the Statue of Liberty in April 2008. We half expected to see such wonderful blossoms at the Liberty Island. After completing the visit, when we were walking back to the boat, I just turned around to look at the statue from close quarters one last time before leaving the island... and saw something that made me stop in my tracks. I had to snap the view - as you see in the photo - and it remains forever etched in my memory. Lady Liberty never ceases to amaze, she is always inspiring!
