Steve "Air" McNair & Girlfriend Killed....
Steve LaTreal McNair (February 14, 1973 - July 4, 2009), nicknamed Air McNair, was an American football quarterback in the National Football League.
He was originally drafted by the Houston Oilers third overall in the 1995 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alcorn State. McNair was selected to the Pro Bowl three times and was the Co-AP NFL MVP in 2003.
The NFL quarterback Steve McNair has been shot to death in Nashville, police in the Tennessee city confirmed late Saturday afternoon.
McNair, 36, who was married, was found dead near at an apartment complex, along with a female victim (girlfriend - at her condo), a Nashville police spokesperson told ESPN and NFL.com

Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams Jr. released this statement: "We are saddened and shocked to hear the news of Steve McNair's passing today. He was one of the finest players to play for our organization and one of the most beloved players by our fans. He played with unquestioned heart and leadership and led us to places that we had never reached, including our only Super Bowl. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with his untimely passing."
