How will you spend your Fourth of July? |
Tea Party San Antonio Fourth of July
Another successful Tea Party for San Antonio. Governor Rick Perry signed the Contract With The Constitution and gave a speech about limited government. Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell told his story of losing his comrades in a gunfight in the Iraq war and the importance of taking action when facing problems. John Shirley of OathKeepers.org explained the oath that law enforcement officers take when they become members of OathKeepers, an organization dedicated to defending the U.S. Constitution. Participants at the Tea Party listened to speeches and music, ate barbeque, and watched the fireworks. All in all a very enjoyable way to celebrate our country's independence.
