Sound Off: Delegate dispute |
DNC Protests
Saturday 5/31/08 protest at Washington DC Marriott. Inside the hotel the Democratic National Committee met to decide the fate of Florida and Michigan delegates. The crowd chanted "Count Every Vote" as the committee met. Protestors carried signs saying "I'm not half a voter", "I'm affluent Educated and 4 Hillary" and "Voting Rights=Civil Rights".
Torrential rains and lightning storms rolled through the area throughout the day but it didn't keep the crowd from giving up their fight.
