    CNN asked us, "When did you know" that you want to get married.

     

    I realized I wanted to marry my sweetheart on a very hot June Morning.  I had a very bad case of the flue.  The kind of flue that you wish you died from.  My sweetheart, whom I wasn't romantically involved with at all came over to my house to see how I was doing.  She made me soup.  She put ice on my head and back.  She was there for me when I didn't even expect it.  She is an attractive woman, but I didn't have any feelings for her until that day.

     

    I was blind.  The moment she showed me her true quality in service and caring, I was absolutely in love.  It only took 2 years to convince her to marry me.  Was worth it.
