    Jana and I had been dating for many years already and we'd been through a lot. When one of my favorite punk rock bands, the Dwarves came to Boston last year none of my usual friends could go. Not wanting to go alone, she was my +1. The Dwarves are known for their abrasive live shows full of thrashing crowds and band members in the buff. While drinking PBR tallboys and being thoroughly entertained I admirably stared at my lady who was not only there, but smiling and having a splendid time. "If this gal can enjoy my crass music, she must be a keeper!", I thought. I proposed with the perfect tanzanite ring after her first ice skating adventure in NYC 3 months later. We'll hitch it up next May.
