To explain it is hard....

We met at Borders Books and Music in Algonquin for the first date/meeting.  We met on line....  She drove an HOUR just after rush hour to meet me for the first time.....  Then, as I met her eyes, her beautiful smile and engaging personality I knew... just knew that she was it... I have been in love before and know how it feels to be able to let down every single wall built up in 38 years (I am now 40) for someone.  Someone so sweet, family driven, stable and just plain nice.  We were together for about an hour and it was a work night so we parted ways.  We made made another date and then two....  I asked her if I were to marry her would she take my grandmothers ring for now until I get her a proper band... she said yes....

Nov 28, 2008, I was going to Houston, she to Mexico with mom... I called, can I come over b4 we leave and she said of course... I asked, hey you have that CD with your favorite song?  I want to copy it in my Jeep... LOL... All lies!!  I arrived, asked for the CD and asked her to help me carry something from the back of my Jeep... I never ran so fast...  I put the CD in the player and cranked it to #5 ( Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone)   God does she walk fast.!!  I leaped (yes, acutally leaped) to the back of my Jeep and said, wait, wait, here, hold this... just then the song came up loud.... I turned and handed her a dozen red roses and got down on one knee and asked "would you marry me"?  She started to cry as did I....

Sept 13, 2008, married.... Sept 15, 2009  expecting our baby boy to arrive....
