    Naples/Pompeii from November 2006

    My wife and I took a Med cruise in November of 2006 and these are some of the shots from the Naples/Pompeii area.

     

    I got up early when we arrived in port and got some great shots of Mt. Vesuvius as the sun was coming up.

     

    Pompeii is just truly amazing, and with the site of Mt. Vesuivus lurking in the background I can't imagine what it was like the day that mountain erupted.
