White Male Power & Judgment - Sotomayor
Is there a need to challenge collective White male judgment? Supreme court nominee Sotomayor started a firestorm with her extracted comment,
"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a White male who hasn't lived that life."
Naturally a comment like this would put a number of White males in authority on the defensive. But let's examine White male judgment and how it has impacted Non-White males in America.
