    TIME LAPSE

So......my wife and I recently moved to Colorado from NYC.  So far it has been a great fit -- we loved our NY experience, however, we were ready for big change.  We're still adjusting, unpacking boxes and whatnot, and part of our move involved driving some of our belongings from Richmond, VA, to Colorado.  So a good friend from college and I loaded up a Budget rental truck and headed West...

With the Road Trip assignment still ongoing, I had a great idea to do a TIME LAPSE of the entire trip for iReport.   So, I set the camera on the dashboard, took a few stills on the fly along the way, and chronicled each day of the trip for all of you out there.

I KNOW this is REALLY long, however, I was able to condense about 14.5 hours on the road into about 10.5 minutes.  To add a little texture to the report I decided to include a soundtrack courtesy of my first "official" favorite band, Pink Floyd.  Their music has kept me company on many a road trip in the past (including this one) and I dedicate this iReport to Richard Wright, keyboardist and vocalist for Pink Floyd, who died last year.  So, if you like Pink Floyd, I think you'll want to crank up the sound...and if you don't, no biggie...I think the video speaks for itself as well.

I hope you like it and thanks as always for watching...

    Back again,

PS - Be sure to look for Day Two (coming soon)...
