Ashley's Second Time Seeing Harry Potter!-Hits and Misses Review

I met Ashley Habibvand from Orange, CA on Friday, July 17th for the 1:40 pm show of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at Cinema City in Anaheim Hills, CA.  I was attracted by her Harry Potter purse, but come to find out there was a lot more to her story.  This was her second time seeing the movie and this time she brought her mother.

About a month ago, she pre-ordered tickets for the midnight showing of Harry Potter Half Blood-Prince online.  She along with other friends and family camped out starting at 6 pm and partied until the midnight showing.  She was gracious enough to share some fun pictures she took at that showing.  In the photos are her friends and family, Megan Hudson, Marisa Habibvand, Kara Habibvand, Nick Madden, and Anna Knox.  They had lots of fun dressing up and waiting with much anticipation with the other fans.  They other people played instruments, card games, and socialized.

Ashley Habibvand said "half the fun is waiting in line and talking to people....about anything, or about your favorite parts of the book."

I was not fortunate enough like Ashley to party at a midnight showing.  With my busy schedule, I did manage to go on Friday afternoon and I took my 10 and 6 year old who are true Harry Potter fans.  I have every DVD and they quickly started playing them again last night after seeing this one in the theater.

I liked the film.  I understood the accents and could follow the dialogue a lot better this time around.  I have seen all the films.  This one by far is a better screenplay, editing, and awesome special affects.  The characters are getting older and the hormones are starting to get a bit out of control, but it was a tight movie and didn't cross over any lines.  The kissing scenes were short and really covered by side views.  I enjoy watching Harry Potter grow up and become a man.  He listens to his elders better this time around.  This shows maturity on his part.  I love the magic and fantasy of it all.  The only thing I missed is Harry Potter's mugal family.  They were not in this film.  Overall, I give this film a strong A., or 4 1/2 stars out of 5, or 9 out of 10.  It depends on what kind of system you are use to.  I recommend this as a family fantasy film and it is very enjoyable for all ages.

    Thank you!
