This iReport is part of an assignment:
Still driving that gas guzzler? |
2007 4Runner
We drive this about 12K miles per year and mostly full of kids or groceries. We live close to work and about 16-17 mpg isn't bad for a 6-cyl 4wd. We also have a 4-cyl Accord for the majority of our driving, though we still take the 4Runner on long trips with 3 kids, 1 dog and stuff. Wish Toyota would put a diesel in the American market 4Runner, then we'd use biodiesel, which is available here in northern NV. I don't blame energy companies, oil is a finite resource and will continue to increase in price as demand goes up, pretty simple economic principles. Hybrids may be the stepping stone, but hydrogen may be the ultimate fuel, hopefully sooner rather than later.
