PhotoTrackr scam
Please spread the word to anyone you know who might be thinking about buying a Gisteq PhotoTrackr. They don't work with the Macintosh OS and the company knows it. They are ripping people off and using them as paid beta testers. Please spread the word on this to anyone you know in the photo world.
The PhotoTrackr is supposed to provide geotagging for your digital photos. Apparently it works pretty well (although everyone agrees that it is very frustrating to get it to work) on a Windows system. Even the companies own forum says it won't work on a Macintosh.
Is everyone else out there as tired as I am of being used as a beta tester on products I pay for? When will the FTC start looking in scams like this? I am going to return this thing, but why should I have to pay close to $100 for something that doesn't work then beg for my money back?
