40 Years Ago a Dream was Realized, Man Landed on the Moon
Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles California celebrates Apollo 11's Landing on the Moon with a host of events. The "Make a Crater" activity was great fun for the children and lectures were held as well.
James, one of the guides, was inspired and enthusiatic about Astronauts as a child. Although not old enough to remember, the Moon Landing had a direct affect on the direction he has chosen for his life.
Winniford Daily from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, had 10 children not much time for anything else. Watching Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the Moon was a dream realized for Winniford and the entire world.
Note: One can look behind James and see the Famous "Hollywood" sign, faintly, in the Hollywood Hills
