    Historic Moon Landing

    I was only 17 years old when that first moon landing took place.

    My dad and I was standing in the dark streets of Brakpan, Gauteng, South Africa. He had his 8mm film camera focused on the moon. I had a portabl;e radio on my shoulder.

    When those famous words TRANQUALITY BASE HERE, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED came on the radio my dad started to film the moon.

    What an historic event.

    I would like to find that film and post it on this website.
