    Apollo Capsule in Vegas

    To commorate the 40th Anniversary of the Moon landing Las Vegas is celebrating with a display on Fremont Street.

     

    The Apollo Capsule from the Ron Howard Film Apollo 13 is on display along with photos of the moon landing and a space suit.

     

    As a kid I always thought it would be amazing to walk on the moon and go into outer space. I remembering reading about the moon landing in history and seeing photos and video clips. Truly a magical event that changed history.
