This iReport is part of an assignment:
Black in America 2 |
Rededicating & Reclaiming our Purpose
The excitement and anticipation for Black in America 2 is still thriving after the first episode. From Malaak Compton's Journey for Change program, to John Rice encouraging entrepreneurs to obtain CEO positions and Steve Perry's Capital Prep school, Black in America 2 offered diverse perspectives of how we are mobilizing our communities to make a difference.
Listen in while Tamicia Currie gives her thoughts and shows major respect for a man she calls "This guy" - a principal who easily redefines the term "Community Outreach" by taking it to another level.
Thank you Soledad O'Brien, Steve Perry, Malaak Compton, John Rice and all contributors for sincerely offering your help to make our communities stronger!
...Now it's time to get some sleep before tomorrow's debut and Part 2 of Black in America.
