CNN Gives Fresh Perspective to "Black In America2" How Far Have We Come As a People?
This was indeed a riveting documentary. There were no drugs, guns or violence negatively portraying the African American people. In times past, our people have been exploited for the purpose of granduer and negative humor.
If you listen carefully to this video you hear how it was on the news for blacks from the 1960's until currently. We have made significant progress as a people but we should not rest satisified with where we are.
For there is still much to be done as highlighted by the recent events of the Shooting of an African American at the Holocaust Museum, lawsuits in the Philadelphia area for the children of the swimming pool incident and the black police of the city and the disturbing news of Professor Henry Gates in Cambridge Ma.
