This iReport is part of an assignment:
Still driving that gas guzzler? |
I am UPSIDE DOWN Big Time!
I purchased my 2002 Trailblazer LTZ when gas prices were relatively low, and since then they have doubled. At the same time, less people want SUV's and nobody would give me enough money for it so I could pay off the loan. I owe 15000.00 and It looks like I might get 9000 dollars for it if I am lucky. For me to trade it in, I would have to come up with a down out of my pocket, which I am not in a position to do, plus pay off my current car, or just take on another payment. The difference in gas prices could not justify the additional expense.
