Warner Brothers Movie Preview Panel at Comic-Con International, 2009

Every year the Comic-Con International seems to grow bigger, both in scope and popularity. The Friday program schedule included a Warner Brothers sneak preview of some of their upcoming films:

    Where the Wild Things Are
    The Book of Eli
    A Nightmare on Elm Street
    The Box
    Jonah Hex
    Sherlock Holmes

Several stars made an appearance, along with directors and producers.

*The lead in Where the Wild Things Are, Max Records, introduced a preview reel of the film.
*Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Mila Kunis were on hand to promote The Book of Eli.
*Jackie Earl Haley, the new face-behind-the-mask of Freddy Krueger, appeared and answered audience questions about the A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot.
*Director Richard Kelly and stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden took questions about the upcoming thriller The Box.
*Con attendees swooned over Josh Brolin and Megan Fox as they promoted their upcoming film adaptation of the comic book series, Jonah Hex.
*Robert Downey Jr. rallied fans with an introduction to a preview clip of Sherlock Holmes, then sat with costar Rachel McAdams, wife Susan Downey (Producer), and producers Joel Silver and Lionel Wigram to answer questions.
