What if the police had not responded?
Would anyone question the statement that for any one of us there would be a point, beyond which our behavior could result in a disorderly conduct arrest? I don't think so. Ultimately, I suspect opinions pivot on whether or not one feels the original police dispatch was warranted in the first place. I do, notwithstanding the report that his place had been broken into previously. What if the police had not responded??
