    In Myanmar (Burma) during Cycline Nargis

     

    Cyclone Nargis has extracted a deadly price in isolated Burma killing nearly 22,500 people as of May 7th with another 41,000 reported missing. But to the withless military junta this appears inconsequential as they are looking to go ahead with referendum on a new constituion very likely to cement their regime/rule.

     

    Some veiwers discretion is advised on some of these photos, but bear with us, because some of these may be shocking to some people.

     

    These pictures show of what it looked like in Myanmar (Burma) during and after Cyclone Nargis. "Cyclone Nargis was a strong tropical cyclone that cause the worst natural disaster in the recorded history of Burma (officially known as Myanmar). The cyclone mad landfall in the country on May 2, 2008, causing catastrophic destruction an at least 146,000 fatalities with thousands more people still missing. The Labutta Township alone was reported to have 80,000 dead, with about 10,000 more deaths in Bogale. There were around 55,000 people missing and many other deaths were found in other towns and areas, although the Burmese government's official death toll was grossly unnderreported as they............." -Wikipedia
