    Ben's Silverman's New "Office"

Ben Silverman, the co-chairman of NBC Universal Entertainment, announced today that he will be leaving the network to start up yet another groundbreaking venture.

In a new partnership with IAC, Barry Diller’s media and Internet company, Silverman will head a new, yet-to-be-named company that, according to an IAC press release, will "unite producers, creators, advertisers and distributors under one roof and produce all forms of content for distribution across a variety of platforms around the world."

The announcement comes a little more than two years after Silverman left his own radical production company Reveille (responsible for "The Office," and "The Biggest Loser") to become co-chairman of NBC Universal Entertainment.

According to the press release, NBC Universal will continue to have a strong relationship with Mr. Silverman, there may even be a "potential investment in the enterprise."

The company will "take full advantage of all areas of Ben Silverman's extensive media expertise - as an agent, producer and advertising innovator - to create a truly integrated and truly interactive new media production entity," said IAC Chairman & CEO Barry Diller. "

Ben Silverman, who you can always find looking ahead, calls the new venture a "next generation studio and ad business is being integrated and built for the digital age."
