This iReport is part of an assignment:
Surviving a tough economy |
How Far Would You Take It In This Economy?
During these tough economic times of layoffs and forclosures some people have resorted to unusual ways to bring in the dough. From crazy items for sale online to wacked out yard sales people are giving new meaning to doing what it takes.
One Ebay seller is selling their personal letters from a former best friend to make the mortgage payment for the month. Another unemployed citizen is taking yard sales to the next level by dressing in simple costumes and standing on the street corner waving at drivers as if it were a car dealership sales pitch.
All in all America has not lost it's ability to survive. But the one thing it has lost is the good ole days of not resorting to anything.
