This iReport is part of an assignment:
When did you know? |
Poetry Inspired By My Love
One year ago I fell madly in love. Things didn't exactly work out like I hoped, but like Hell am I giving up yet.
Here's some poetry I wrote, inspired by the girl of my dreams.
Summit
Summit I reach for you
But my hands fall short
And my muscles burn until I have to fall
So I do
And I sit alone with my frustration
Nursing my injuries and cursing
The weakness which keeps me from you
But those moments when you forsake me
Pass like rain storms
And then I can’t let go
And so
I try again
And when I fall
Don’t count me out
Because your wonder
Will always pull me back
So blister my hands
Scar my back
And break my arms
So that wings
May grow in their place
And let me soar to you
And let me stay with you
Summit let me stay with you
A Lungful
I'll breathe in all the airs you don't put on
to puff out my chest
so you can see how strong I'll be for you
Physical Atraction
Find the coefficient of kinetic friction
between the road
and the shoes of a 75 kg boy
standing in Texas
on a forty-five degree slope to you.
What is the force
due to the gravity
of the situation?
Assuming a constant accelerated heart rate,
what will be the velocity
of his anxiety
after three months
(assuming each month contains thirty days)?
What will be
the change in mass
of his heart when he sees you?
Will the reaction
be endothermic
or exothermic?
Considering you
are more radiant than the Sun,
what is the strength
of the Nuclear force
Pulling the boy back?
What do you think of this story?
