Job hunt stories |
Job search in Silicon Valley? It's no different!
When I faced the situation of having to look for a job earlier this earlier, I actually expected it to be a walk in the park. After all, this is Silicon Valley where we expect to the hotbed of innovtation. With a great computer science background, I should be able to find a job in no time. Right?
Well, it turned out that it was quite tough. There was very little response from recruiters at the beginning.
With some additional help from my personal network, my job counselor and my friends I was able to find the right job.
One thing to note - if you are not able to find a job using traditional methods, try changing your approach.
