    The Obama Show

I admit it would have been easy to come up with a cartoon commenting on the "Beer Summit" the "Birthers" the "Clunkers for Cash" or even the rumors surrounding the Palins but for a moment I needed to step back from all the sillyness and take a break. That and I've been teaching so my time has been better spent showing kids how to draw funny animals and color. For those who worry about such things, no I haven't been trying to impose my political views on them I'm just showing them how to be creative. They can figure out left from right when their done survivng puberty. But I digress. The subject of this cartoon is the fact that President Obama finds it neccesary to literally make an appeareance on every media outlet that will let him on almost a daily basis. Which begs the question, "How much Obama is too much?" Of course that depends on your level of tolerance of the man.  Those who dislike him will never really believe what he is saying and those who support him might get tired of hearing the same message repeated over and over again but at this very early point in his administration they are still willing to tolerate his love of the camera, somewhat.  With that said why not simply have a TV program or better yet Webcast with guests and music to keep an audiences attention? The opening monologue could be what ever issue he is trying to promote and if he really wanted to get peoples attention John Stewart could cohost. Ad revenue would help the GNP and the people who really didn't want to watch would know when he was going to be on and therefore could find something else to entertain themselves with. Just a thought.
