Abington police are searching for a naked intruder. Police say the burglar likes to touch women's underwear.

Police say security camera pictures expose a naked intruder after he broke into several apartments on Old York Road on Friday.

Police say he took his clothes off after he broke into the apartment building, reported Fox 29's Sharon Crowley.

Once inside, investigators say he rummaged through underwear drawers of the women who live there.

"He was going through women's underwear up there and he ended up taking his clothes off when he was up in that room," says Detective Phil Geliebter of Abington Police Department.

It's disturbing behavior that has residents concerned.

“It makes me a little unsettled because we've never had this before,” says a female resident.

“It makes me very uncomfortable because someone that unstable, I mean, he wasn’t in the right frame of mind. It’s scary,” says a male tenant.

Police believe this is also the man who exposed himself to a woman earlier in the day on Friday. They say he left behind a large set of keys.

So far, the homes he broke into were all empty but detectives worry about what may happen next time if someone is home.

"Our concern is if he gets into an apartment or house that is occupied, we are not sure what he's going to do because of the apparent sexual nature of the burglaries, our concern is a little more than it would be normally," says Detective Geliebter.

In one break-in he stole a lap top computer, say police.

After that, one resident told Fox 29 he was running around in a cirle outside without any clothes on.

Police described the man as white, 30 to 40 years old, 5'8" to 5'11", thin to medium build with dark hair, thinning on top. He was seen in dark colored shorts and a white sleeveless tank top t-shirt.
