Welcome Home Ladies from N. Korea
Yesterday I was privileged to see Laura Ling and Euna Lee stepping down from the plane back on homeland soil.
For a brief moment, as tears rolled down my cheek, I wasn't thinking about heath care reform, the economy, my grandchildren, or anything but the true happiness in a little girl's eyes being reunited with her beautiful mother.
At that moment in time I was so proud to be a fellow American. I salute to former President Clinton, Vice President Gore, and the many others who were instrumental in the release of these young ladies.
With all of the turmoil in our country and around the world, it is great to be a part of something as wonderful as their home coming.
Well done!!!!!!
